Our Ophthalmologists are leaders in their fields and are supported by highly skilled and trained support staff. The Port Elizabeth Eye and Laser Institute is a modern comprehensive eye care clinic. The Institute was founded at our current premises in May 1998, and has nine resident ophthalmologists who are members of the Ophthalmological Society of South Africa. As a progressive business, we ensure that our patients are treated using the latest techniques and state-of-the-art technology. Patients are warmly welcomed and guided through all the relevant tests and procedures. Our doctors and staff take pride in fostering long-lasting relationships with their clients.

The Institute has 9 resident Ophthalmologists who are all members of the Ophthalmic Society of South Africa and who adhere to the strictest code of conduct and professionalism. A full range of specialised ophthalmic procedures can be performed at the day hospital (MFT) adjacent to the Institute.

Located at 205 – 209 Cape Road, The Eye and Laser Institute is situated near the Greenacres Shopping Centre between Rochelle Road and Conyngham Road.
